Case Study: KPIT

Mr. Ravi Pandit, Chairman, KPIT Infosystems Ltd. took keen interest to discuss the concept of the Movement, shared his thoughts and readily agreed to encourage employees at KPIT to contribute towards this social cause. He led from front by joining the Movement in the very first meeting. He assigned the task to the HR department to do the needful.

Mr.Ganesh and Ms.Nishath from their HR department took up the coordination in addition to their busy schedules and disseminated the information regarding the Movement to the employees of KPIT and coordinated for making the stickers available to them at the office.

In the words of Mr.Ravi Pandit about the Movement & the organizational program:

"The absence of traffic sense in Pune has been bothering me for some time.  Our traffic is unsafe for all of us and is actually embarrassing in front of guests who come from out of Pune.  Improving this traffic is clearly in our own hands.  There is much that we can do to make this happen.  It has, therefore, been our pleasure to be associated with Save Pune Traffic Movement.  I wish the movement all the best."

Mr.Ganesh Sankar, Head of the HR at KPIT says:

"Chaotic and dangerous driving affects each one of us.  With the rate of increase in traffic, the problems get compounded.  If things need to improve, the starting point is ME and Save Pune Traffic Movement is an excellent means of facilitating a change towards an improvement.

We enjoyed implementing the organization level program of the Movement by spreading the information about the Movement among the employees at KPIT and were happy to receive positive response from many employees at KPIT. We will continue to encourage all employees to join the Movement and provide them information about the rules and safe driving tips. We at KPIT care for the city and our association with the Movement is an expression of this Care."
